fragrance bar You can choose your own scent for many products at Sugar Body & Bath. From salts, scrubs and creams and even perfume oil, if you can dream it, we can make it. We recommend combining a maximum of 3 fragrances in 1:1 ratios. You should choose your scents by combining those that are complimentary, and form different notes of the fragrance. A classic perfume is usually made up of 3 notes, a top, middle and bottom note. But of course you may make any combinations you wish! The top note presents itself first, and it is the first scent recognized by the olfactory system. It is also the first to disappear from the skin. These are generally sweet scents like fruits. The middle note compliments the first, and blends with it to create the “signature” of the scent. It is usually longer lasting than the first. These are usually florals and non-sweet fruits. The base note is the longest lasting, and will be what remains of the fragrance, after the first two notes have been absorbed by the skin. You fragrance will smell more like the base note at the end of the day with the two other notes lightly complimenting it. These include musks, woodsy notes, vanilla, chocolate and other deep tones.
